Q1 Is ConsoleGoals free and will it remain free?
A1 Yes! ConsoleGoals is 100% free and will remain so
Q2 How do I create an account?
A2 Please go to our Sign Up page and create an account. You wil then be able to upload, comment and rate goals
Q3 How do I change my password?
A3 Log in to ConsoleGoals. Click on " My Profile", and enter your new password.
Q4 What if I lost my password?
A4 Click on "Forgot your password?" link on the login page and enter your e-mail address, then click "Submit". Your password will be emailed to you.
Q5 What if I do not have my own blog or web site to add ConsoleGoals to? Can I still enjoy ConsoleGoals?
A5 Sure you can. You can use ConsoleGoals as your home page and send the permanent links to your friends
Q6 Are there rules and restrictions on uploading videos on ConsoleGoals?
A6 Yes. Please read out Terms Of Use for details.
Q7 Is there an age restriction for users?
A7 Yes. ConsoleGoals is only available for users 13 years of age and older.

Q1 How do I upload a video?
A1

If you already have a video ready to upload (maybe an AVI or Windows Media Video (WMV) file) you can upload it to ConsoleGoals right away. You can get to the upload form anytime by clicking the "Upload" link at the top of every page. You will need to be registered to benefit from this functionality.

If you don't have your video in an uploadable format yet, you can use a tool like Windows Movie Maker (which comes with Windows) or iMovie (it comes with a Mac) to create a file you can share. Once you've done that, upload it!

Q2 Which movie formats does ConsoleGoals support?
A2 ConsoleGoals is designed to allow your members to upload a wide range of video formats including: AVI, WMV, QuickTime, DIVX, MPEG and many more! For details on the full range of supported video formats, please refer to this page.
Q3 Can I link to my video directly?
A3

Absolutely! Link to it from your forums like vBulletin, in an e-mail or wherever. You can use the permalink which can be sent out via e-mail or you can embed the video in social websites like MySpace and Friendster.

How much storage space and bandwidth can I use on ConsoleGoals?
A4 Each video you upload must be max 100MB, but videos generally stream more efficiently if they are smaller. You have unlimited bandwidth for free.
Q5 I uploaded a file but it is not showing up.
A5 Please allow some time for the database/system to be updated. File uploading could sometimes take as long as 15 minutes depending the size of the file you are trying to upload. If the problem persists, try uploading the file again.
Q6 Do you provide Syndication feeds like RSS?
A6 Yes we do. Please go here for more information.
Q7 If I have a ConsoleGoals player on my web site, will I be using my own bandwidth?
A7 No. That is the beauty of ConsoleGoals. Now you can broadcast your goal videos without worrying using up your own bandwidth resources.
Q8 Will my files ever be deleted?
A8 As long as you don't upload illegal or copyrighted material, your files will never be deleted.
System Requirements
Q1 What are the system requirements to use ConsoleGoals?
A1 Internet connection (DSL or T1 broadband connection recommended). Faster CPU, better video card, with enough memory also recommended.
Q2 Do I need a broadband connection to use ConsoleGoals?
A2 It is not required but it is strongly recommended.
Q3 Why does video playback skip?
A3 This may be due to other applications running on your computer sharing the internet connection
